    02/28/2023 - 06/03/2023

Overview: The Victory Garden Project goal is to improve the health of our veterans within the Pasadena community.  This project will provide veterans with a PTSD therapy program as well as a community involvement volunteer opportunity for local high school ROTC units and a local Boys Scout troops to interact with our Pasadena veterans.  The vegetables grown and harvested from the garden will be used to supply for the post and future food pantry program for veterans in need.

Details: The Victory Garden will be a fenced in area of 4,280 sq. ft. (40ft by 107ft) at the back of the post’s property.  It will have 20 raised beds (10 beds of 4’x25’x2’ & 10 beds of 4’x12’x2’), a storage shed for tools & supplies, and a rainwater collection system to water the vegetables.
