    The Tulip Project

The Tulip Project is a family-friendly residential campus, designed to support seriously ill children and their families. Located on Tulip Street in Pasadena, Texas, near Beltway 8, the Tulip Project consists of twelve (12) duplex style units. Each unit has three bedrooms, two baths, and is designed to assist families with children who are waiting on or recovering from transplant, requiring treatment at the nearby Texas Medical Center, or utilizing palliative care services.

PJH established a permanent site for the families in 2013 with the help of the City of Pasadena and Texas Gulf Coast Housing Partners. The Albemarle Foundation partnered with PJH in 2013, to add a third duplex; and these two units, Pasadena Place and Bayport Place, are named in honor of both area plant facilities. In 2018, three additional duplexes were added to complete the housing facilities on campus. Special thanks to the Glassell Foundation, Southeast Texas Housing Finance Corporation, and the Rotary Club of Pasadena.
