This panel exhibition features stories drawn from the 9/11 Memorial and Museum collection in New York, in remembrance of the 2,977 people who lost their lives and honor many more who selflessly stood side by side with first responders. This exhibit chronicles powerful accounts of rescue and great courage on that fateful day. The museum also invites guests to write their own personal message on a leaf of the Survivor Tree. Modeled as a tribute to the Survivor Tree at the 9/11 Memorial & Museum in New York City, this tree symbolizes strength, hope and renewal in the face of tragedy.
