We are seeking a motivated Immigration Attorney to join our team. This role is ideal for a recent law school graduate, bar-admitted attorney, or a licensed attorney seeking to grow their practice in immigration law. Experience in immigration is not required but strongly preferred—we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates passion and commitment.
Position Summary:
The Immigration Attorney will represent clients in various immigration matters, including family petitions, asylum, removal defense, adjustment of status, DACA, U visas, and naturalization. The attorney will work closely with clients, paralegals, and the managing attorney to ensure high-quality representation and excellent client service.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct client consultations and provide legal advice on immigration matters

Prepare and file petitions, applications, and supporting documentation with USCIS, EOIR, and other agencies

Represent clients in immigration court and attend USCIS interviews

Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to manage case files and deadlines

Research legal issues and stay updated on changes in immigration law and policy

Participate in community outreach events, workshops, and firm-sponsored activities as needed

Uphold firm values of professionalism, compassion, and integrity in all client interactions
Qualifications:

Required:

Licensed attorney (Texas Bar preferred, but open to other state bars if eligible for waiver)

Strong communication, writing, and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously

Commitment to client advocacy and community engagement

Bilingual in English and Spanish

Preferred:

Immigration experience and/or knowledge

Minimum 1-year experience in immigration law

Prior experience in immigration law (internship, clinic, or practice)

Courtroom or client-facing experience

Familiarity with immigration software and case management systems
