Licensed Architect
Posted: 07/29/2025Licensed Architect to produce construction documents for commercial projects throughout the
greater Houston area. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer benefits that include health

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is mandatory. A bachelor’s degree in architecture from an
accredited program is required. The ideal candidate will be on the path to licensure with a
minimum of two years of experience. Outstanding academic achievements may replace
experience requirements. You will provide professional architectural consultation in the
planning, design, and engineering coordination for various projects. You will be responsible for
specific technical design aspects, including investigation, evaluation, and recommendation of
design solutions. The ability to independently make decisions on design problems and methods
is required. You will prepare and review conceptual designs, produce detailed working
drawings, and carry out submittals to permitting. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the
ability to check your own work and the work of others are necessary attributes. Verbal and
written skills are to be excellent.
Qualifications:- 2+ years of experience in commercial architecture design or outstanding academic
- achievements
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and Word
- Working knowledge of current codes and standards; experience in City of Houston a
- plus
- High proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT is mandatory, 3D rendering a plus.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills are required.
Responsibilities:- Meet with prospective clients and determine program and scope.
- Write fee proposals and change proposals for additional services.
- Manage contracts with the Owner and with consultants.
- Respond to RFQ’s
- Produce schematic design and design development drawings and presentations to
- clients.
- Manage projects through construction documentation.
- Coordinate with engineering consultants as well as in-house departments (civil,
- structural, surveying)
- Maintain project budgets and schedules.
- Verify code compliance.
- Submit for regulatory approval and facilitate the permitting process.
- Oversee and conduct bidding activities, as needed.
- Assist with some construction administration, submittal review, and RFI’s.
- Direct the project team and conduct performance reviews.
Maintain a professional demeanor and respect coworkers.
Full time 7:30am-4:00 pm Monday-Friday, 1 day work from home.
