Connecting Your Community
Welcome to our Non-Profit Network! Our goal is to provide organizations with a space to display and share their current needs and available resources and to facilitate meaningful connections between our city's businesses and non-profits to encourage a community of collaboration and support.
The Rose breast health center
The Rose Breast Cancer Center, Southeast Texas' leading breast cancer nonprofit, supports the uninsured in our community to ensure they have access to early detection, diagnostics and treatment if needed. Founded in Pasadena in 1986, now serves 43 counties, and 7,000 uninsured each year. One of Charity Navigator's Top 6 breast cancer charities nationwide. No one should die from breast cancer simply because they can't afford care.
Please make sure your employees, volunteers, patients, members, etc all know that we are here to serve uninsured women. There are resources available to help with screening mammograms, diagnostics and treatment. Remember that insured women coming to The Rose help fund our mission to serve the uninsured.
If you are looking for a partner to raise funds for in October or would like one of our speakers for a lunch and learn or health fair, please reach out. The Rose also provides chemo kits for patients we diagnose. These items - lip balm, warm socks, hand lotion and more - are all helpful as they start their cancer journey. We accept donations of these items year-round.
