  • Clothed by Faith - Who We Are

    Offer Valid: 01/25/2023 - 01/25/2023

While most of us don't give a second thought to whether we have enough clothes to wear, the truth is that many in our communities struggle to afford this basic need. Every day at risk children and adults face social, emotional, and financial barriers because they lack the resources to obtain quality clothing. Clothed by Faith is working to help remove those barriers.

Our objective is simple, to give one week's worth of clothing, free of charge, to anyone in need. Our Staff and Volunteer team customizes a week’s worth of gently used clothing, shoes, and new underwear & socks for each child or adult. The clothing and shoes are carefully sorted, selected, and packaged in a gift bag specifically for each client in a manner that offers them confidence, hope and dignity.

Clothed by Faith began 2013 in the garage of our founder, Abi Fourie, with a simple idea: to tap into the generosity and abundance of our community to provide help do those without access to the same resources. In 2017 a second branch was opened in Deer Park to serve the needs of the Southeast Houston area. Since 2013 we have served over 91,000 children and adults across the Greater Houston area.
Through our Agency Partnership Program we partner with 90 agencies, organization, and non-profits across the Greater Houston Area. Our Pasadena Partners include The Bridge Over Troubled Waters and Sarah's House.

Through our School Partnership Program we partner with 15 school districts across the Greater Houston Area as a resource to provide clothing for students and their families.  Our partnership with
Pasadena ISD began after Hurricane Harvey. During the 2021-2022 school year 753 people received clothing from CBF. We have a closet at Meador Elementary serving schools in the South Belt Area. A second closet will be opening at Shaw Middle School during this school year.
