Pasadena Hosts Governor's Small Business Summit

In June, Pasadena had the honor of serving as one of only 15 communities across Texas selected to host a 2026 Governor’s Small Business Summit. The Pasadena event brought together entrepreneurs, small business owners, community leaders and resource partners for a day dedicated to helping businesses start, strengthen and grow.

Throughout the day, attendees had the opportunity to hear from experts, participate in informative sessions and connect directly with local, state and federal resources designed to support business success. The summit provided practical information and actionable tools on topics important to today’s entrepreneurs while also creating valuable opportunities for networking and relationship building.

For the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce, hosting the Governor’s Small Business Summit was an important extension of our commitment to supporting the businesses that drive our local economy. Small businesses are essential to the strength and character of our community, and ensuring that business owners have access to the right people, information and resources is a key part of creating an environment where they can thrive.

The summit also demonstrated the power of collaboration. By bringing together state leadership, economic development, education, workforce partners and the business community, Pasadena was able to provide entrepreneurs with connections and resources that extend far beyond a single event.
