    The purpose of the Government Affairs committee is to be a strong, well informed advocate for the business community in monitoring and influencing legislation at the local, state and national level. The purpose is to advocate for policies and legislation that contributes to the growth, prosperity and sustainability of our city and region. Committee meetings offer a forum for members to hear regular updates from elected officials and presentations related to government and economic development.
