    On Thursday, September 10, from 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m., we will be hosting a How to Host an Intern Lunch & Learn at San Jacinto College Central Campus.
     
    This event is designed for employers who may be interested in working with interns—whether they already have an internship program in place or are simply curious about what it would take to get started. We want to help take some of the uncertainty out of the process and show employers how an internship can be a meaningful experience for both the student and their organization.
     
    Attendees will have an opportunity to grab a bite, network with other area employers, and learn more about:
    • How to develop a meaningful internship experience
    • Best practices for supervising interns and setting expectations
    • San Jacinto College requirements and agreements
    • The support available to employers through our faculty and college team
     
    We’ll also talk about the broader value of internships—how employers can use these experiences to develop emerging talent, introduce students to their industries, and make a direct impact on student career readiness and success
