Accounting Clerk (A/P)

Our Client in Southeast Houston is hiring for the Accounting team. We are looking for an Accounts Payable Accounting clerk in the East Houston area with a short commute from Pasadena. This position offers a good team culture and room for growth. 

Accounts Payable Clerk:

• Code customer invoices / correct errors and enter in the accounting system
• A/P clerks research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
• Review for sales tax and accrue where necessary.
• Provide accounting support to the company by ensuring that employees and vendors are paid properly and on time.
• Reconcile the accounts payable accounts to ensure payment accuracy

• Accounting Clerk experience in construction, industrial, or manufacturing industry within your AP role
• Associates degree in Accounting preferred
