Monetary Needs for Transportation

Dear Friends and Supporters,
 
We have a very specific need for one of our newest residents, and we’re asking our community to come alongside us and help keep her moving toward her dream. 💛
 
She recently joined Jane Around The World while already enrolled at Houston Community College. Rather than allowing this transition in her life to interrupt her education, she is determined to finish the semester she started. Once this semester is complete, she plans to transfer to San Jacinto College to continue pursuing her dream of a career serving others in the healthcare industry.
 
Right now, her biggest barrier is simply getting to class.
 
For the next 15 weeks, she needs transportation to HCC five days a week. While we have an amazing team of Transporters - this campus is outside of our transportation radius guidelines so we are going to need to meet this need with ride share opportunities most likely.
At an estimated $70 per day, we need to raise approximately $5,250 to ensure transportation doesn’t become the reason she has to step away from her education.

🎓 $350 provides one full week
💛 $1,050 provides three weeks
🌟 $5,250 gets her through the semester
 
At Jane Around The World, we don’t simply provide a young woman with a place to live—we want to champion her.
 
When she tells us she wants to finish school, build a career, serve others, and create a different future for herself, we want to be the community standing behind her saying, “Keep going. We’ll help you get there.”
