2015 Emergency Operations Drill We cordially invite you to attend CenterPoint Energy’s Emergency Operations Drill at our South Houston Service Center located at 4700 South Shaver Street, Building F. This drill will take place on Wednesday, May 20th. During this drill, we simulate a system-wide emergency affecting a significant portion of CenterPoint Energy’s Transmission and Distribution system. Drill activities begin at 8:00 am and will be going on throughout the day. You are welcome to attend any portion of the drill; however, we are requesting that you specifically attend the 10:30 am session focusing on information concerning service restoration strategies, mutual assistance/crew strategies, damage evaluation criteria/processes, estimated restoration times and customer/media relations. CenterPoint Energy provides an essential public service on which our customers rely. We know it is imperative for all our employees to be prepared for their emergency operations role.
