    Event Description:
    Together with the Strawberry Festival, the City of Pasadena will host its annual Holiday Lighted Parade on December 5 beginning at 7 p.m. 

    The parade will travel along Fairmont Pkwy, from Pansy to Watters and back to Pansy . This route is new this year and was designed to extend the length of the route and allow spectators to watch the parade from either side of the roadway.

    Parade chairman Steve Andreno encouraged everyone in the community to attend. 

    “The whole idea behind this parade was to give people in our community a way to come together and celebrate the holidays,” Andreno said. “We want the entire city to come out, be a part of it and show their holiday spirit.”

    All of the entries in the parade will have lights, and this year, entrants include local businesses, non-profit groups, churches, schools and government agencies.

    Awards will be given in eight categories, including best overall, best lighted entry, most holiday spirit and most unique.

    The parade will travel along Fairmont Parkway (from Pansy to Watters and back to Pansy.)
