Hope Scholarships recognize outstanding young people who value education, believe in service to others, and have worked hard to overcome obstacles as they complete their high school careers. Project Joy and Hope has awarded over one million dollars in scholarships to deserving seniors in the greater Houston and surrounding areas since 2001. These amazing students are truly tomorrow's leaders. Each has experienced the death of a parent or sibling and has served their community in amazing ways despite such adversity. The Joy & Hope Fun Run/Walk event will be held on Saturday morning, April 15th, at the San Jacinto Monument beginning at 8:30am.
