The children of Pasadena ISD need your help to create activity spaces on their campuses and in their communities to stay socially, emotionally, and physically healthy. Due to budget constraints, many schools must use what little resources they have on the academic component of school. But as most of us know, a lot of valuable learning takes place on the playground. Not to mention the most preventative form of health care is staying active and creating healthy habits! The Pasadena Chamber is pleased to host this event in partnership with Pasadena ISD to benefit our youth. Proceeds from Rugged Race total more than $55,000 & have contributed to playgrounds and tracks at Southbelt, Moore, Turner and Richey Elementary to date. School selection is based on participation in the 5K/ 1K, involvement in raising funds locally and submitting an application.
