SRP Kick Off Event

Attention readers! If you enjoy reading, you’re going to love our Summer Reading Program (SRP). We’ve packed the summer with over 100 programs and events. Plus, readers of all ages can win great prizes like toys, tablets and electronics! This is a great way to help kids stay in mental shape throughout the summer and a fun way for adults to make new friends and share their interests.

 When: June 5, 2017 through August 5, 2017
 Where: Pasadena Public Library
 (Central location: 1201 Jeff Ginn Memorial Drive 77506 & Fairmont location: 4330 Fairmont Parkway 77504)
 How: Keep a record of the books you or your children read, starting on Monday, June 5. On June 12, you can start turning in your record for a variety of prizes and incentives.

 Children's SRP: Rules
 Children under the age of 11 are encouraged to read, or to be read to, for three hours per week.
 Children’s SRP: Prizes
 We have several incentives to help encourage kids to read, including bookmarks, pencils, certificates, free books, local event tickets and even a raffle for two grand prizes!

 Teen SRP: Rules
 Teens are encouraged to read four hours per week.
 Teen SRP: Prize
 Teens that read for a total of 24 hours will have their name entered in a drawing for a brand-new tablet!

 Adult SRP: Rules
 Each book you read earns an entry in a raffle for three grand prizes.
 Adult SRP: Prizes
 Prizes include a Blu-Ray player, a tablet and more!
