Stage Door Inc. is proud to present Godspell. Based on the Gospel of St. Matthew and just in time for Easter, Godspell opens Thursday, April 5th and runs weekends through April 29th with no show on Easter Sunday.
The show is an abstract telling of the Gospel of St. Matthew. Drawing from various theatrical traditions, such as clowning, pantomime, charades, and vaudeville, this groundbreaking musical is a unique reflection on the life of Jesus Christ. The parables of Jesus come vibrantly to life through song and dance of various styles.
Godspell opens Easter Weekend on Thursday, April 5th, Friday, April 6th and Saturday, April 7th, with no show on Easter Sunday. Then, the show runs Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00pm and Sunday matinees at 3:00pm weekends through April 29th. There will be a special Pay What You Can Performance on Thursday, April 19 at 8pm! Tickets are $15 for general admission, $12 for seniors or students. Group rates are available for all performances.
