Baytown Ace - Manual Machinist

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate manual machines (lathes, mills, drill presses, boring mills, VTLs)
• Machine precision components including pump shafts, sleeves, valves, and rotating equipment parts
• Read blueprints and reverse engineer worn or damaged components
• Hold tight tolerances and ensure quality finishes
• Measure parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges
• Work with carbon steel, stainless steel, alloys, and exotic metals
• Assist with teardown and inspection of customer equipment
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment

• 3+ years manual machining experience (job shop or repair preferred)
• Strong understanding of machining practices and tooling
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and tolerances
• Experience with repair work or reverse engineering preferred
• Familiarity with petrochemical or rotating equipment a plus
• Detail oriented with strong craftsmanship skills
